Tourism for two has been growing at a time of pandemic. Large hotels are no longer the focus due to the crowds at the time of check-in, breakfast and even on the premises of the properties. The high turnover also puts at risk the good functioning of the big hotels that need to reinforce their cleaning even more to avoid contamination by the covid-19.
Therefore, a good option for those who can not stand to stay at home and want to escape that routine, are the small hotels that we call "pousadas" in the interior of Brazil.
Also following biosafety protocols, small luxury properties gain strength in this new scenario.
But a precious tip: many of them do not accept children because they do not have a structure for the little ones. For this reason, the destinations mentioned below promise to offer a second honeymoon with champagne in the moonlight, exquisite cuisine, comfort and a lot of peace.
1 - Abracadabra Pousada - Armação dos Búzios - RJ
With over 40 years of history, Abracadabra Pousada is a perfect retreat just 160 km away from Rio de Janeiro (capital).
Located close to the famous Rua das Pedras, the Pousada is perched high on a hillside in Morro do Humaitá. The view of Búzios bay is breathtaking and the infinity pool, one of the few in the region, contemplates the most famous sunset in the city.
